• If it is urgent...
To fulfill also short term customer needs, following fiber optic cables are actual available from stock - subject to prior sale:

  • New blowing-in test facility

In order to be able test the blowing-in behavior and optimize our mini and micro fiber optic cables therfor, we have decided to build an underground test facility at our site in St. Barbara / Wartberg.

The plant was designed taking into account the relevant standards, which specifies  for example, that the individual length of a pipe must be 100 m in one direction and after connecting the pipe ends in the starting and end shaft, up to 1,000 m.

To meet this requirement, a manhole system - consisting of four prefabricated concrete shafts which were erected at a distance of about 33 m in to the ground. The connection of the individual shafts was carried out with four parallel laid PVC-wall sewer pipes with a diameter of 110 mm.

Depending on the customer's specifications, the relevant speed pipe get drawn into these pipes, in which the fiber optic cable to be tested is then blown.

The test facility is designed to carry out blowing tests from the inside of the building - and thus protected against the weather.

In addition to its own use, this infrastructure is of course also available to third parties for blowing tests. We would be glad making you an offer for this.

  • Cable according to CPR

Since the 1st of July 2017, cables used in construction for long-term may henceforth be marketed only if they have a CE marking. The labelling with the CE marking confirms that the product meets the European guidelines applicable to the specific product.

More detailed information on this topic, as well as an overview of our Declaration of Performances you can find here.

  • We put our product range into the new catalogs "Copper Cable", "Fiber Optic Cable" and "Passive Glass Fiber System Components" and invite you to browse these online.
